Fastnet (Red Sun)
I’ve always held a deep fascination with Fastnet lighthouse, and I’ve drawn and painted it many times, in many styles - but this more recent watercolour painting has a more charged emotion. It reminded me that the lighthouse is also known as “Ireland’s Teardrop” - the last part of Ireland that 19th-century emigrants saw as they sailed to America.
This print is based on a larger original painting. The prints are 8 x 10 inches.
Additional Info: All prints are Giclee printed to 189gsm matte photo paper using Epson Ultrachrome HDR pigment based inks. Frame shown for illustration purposes only.
